Whats up with the stache?

I like to think this hunk-a-hunk of burnin' love started the trend...

As most of you know, my daughter was adopted from China and I left a little piece of my heart there. I'm collecting hats to keep the children and babies warm in the winter. Many live in orphanages that are without heat.

Meowwwwww

Thanks to some very promiscuous cats on our property....

I'd like to introduce Sunnie and Stormie

Sunnie is teenie tiny!

I'm a little worried about her... especially since darling can't keep her hands OFF the kittens!

Even if you don't like cats... kittens are pretty stinkin' cute!!

The cat sized dog is feeling pretty superior next to these tiny 2!

This morning, Sunnie was missing and Stormie was all alone. We found Roxy (the mama) and put him next to her, so my guess it, she'll take them to the woods and make them wild.

There are several cats out here in the country and so far we've only tamed 2. The mothers always cart them off and by the time we see them again we can't get close to them...

Ok, so it's the 5th of July....

Hope my American Pals had a fabulous 4th!!

Yikes, I'm becoming the gal that says "hey, I'll post my 4th of July banner tomorrow and then doesn't..." over and over I seem to do this and I do NOT like it!

I want to run again.... but have I started, NO!

I want to work through the book "Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain".... but have I started, NO!

I feel like I've been slacking in my life and I don't want to. I'm already 41, life is passing me by and I'm watching it go a lot of days....

Anyone else have big dreams but, for some reason just let each day slide by?

I don't want to be this girl anymore!!

I want to do more, I want to give more and I want to be more.

I am the only one that can make this a reality, so...I vow to start NOW!

For the record: I DID make a 4th of July Banner! I didn't put it together nor did I hang it...

I'd like to get rid of that kind of behavior, so I'm throwing it out here and maybe I'll feel more accountable to myself if others know?!

Nice Mug...

I saw some gals on blogs were posting their favorite mug...

I kinda have 3.

#1 just cute. Classic Pooh, so much better than new Pooh if you ask me.

TJ Maxx find years ago.

Perfect size, kinda short and fat.

But then there's this mug, given by a great friend during a....errr.... "bump in my road", shall we say?

I'm happy to say it all panned out: the PSYCHO jerk is G-O-N-E and my new career as a trophy wife is working out for me!

Also just the right size for 1 cup of coffee... who says size doesn't matter?

Then of course, the BEST mug of all...

A mug painted by my daughter. Painted in my favorite color pink and painted brown on the inside so it always "looks full of coffee".

A giant mug, perfect if you don't have much time and want your coffee to cool down in a hurry! The best "we gotta hurry and get out the door" mug!

Darling and I are headed down to the art room to make a 4th of July craft.... Check back tomorrow for the viewing.... No, really, if I don't show finish it today it will just be too late! Not that thats stopped me before!
