It's a bird, it's a plane... it's a vampire bat!
No, nothing cutesy for this girl... but i did line the cape in pink velvet for myself! :)
i wish i could add sound effects for the squawking I had to put up with trying to get the white make-up on her!! Oh boy, you'd have thought i was pulling her skin off the bone!
Here she is with her teacher- "Dorothy"
I didn't take a lot of pictures, it was raining out & I never even got a shot of her with our GIANT pumpkins! Actually- we didn't carve any this year-I guess we got caught up in glittering the skulls... If we get a dry spot this weekend I may have her put on her outfit again & try to grab some pictures before the snow flies! Our 16 year old went out with friends & didn't take one picture!! I'm going to have to show that girl "the way" on photo documenting her life for MY blog!!
Ok- here are some before and not-all-the-way-done-after pictures of our master bedroom. It was this tomato red...
It's now" Tiffany Blue" with white trim... I say "almost" after because the doors have to be changed out, the trim put around the floor & windows, new lamps, furniture & all the "good stuff" hung on the walls, but here's some progress:
Eventually we'll put wall to wall carpet in this room. I found the lamps I want & we need to find some bedside tables and a BED! Our bed is just on a frame, a frame with WHEELS! I told the mister it was like sleeping on a trailer. We've looked & i just couldn't decide the style I want, but i think I've found what I want now...i THINK??!!
this is a view of the closet doors... UGLY!!
Well, here's the wall blue & the new white trim, but the doors.... yikes! Can you tell I can't reach that top shelf & just whip my sweaters up there? Don't even look on that bottom shelf where i have my sheets... Poor Martha would have a heart attack!! Haha, life is too short to neatly fold things that are suppose to be behind closed doors!! The mister has the doors in his shop putting a coat of white on them.... So, these are not the last pictures I'll post, I'll make sure & get some when it is finished, but I sure think it looks better than it did already- even with the vac sitting there!
Ok, i better get moving!
Happy Tuesday!!
