Monday... you're killing me & it's not even noon...

I couldn't find the notebook with my log-in password, I had to re-set everything.  I'm still in my PJ's, I have to clean my house (monday is spring cleaning day so I can "work" on fun stuff the rest of the week), my car has no gas and I'm getting anxious thinking of everything I NEED to do today...

(yes, I am overwhelmed easily :).  i have several more sets made and will keep adding more, so check back here to see what's listed then go tell all your friends that scrapbook.  I have a lot of cute ideas and just not enough organizational skills to make it happen as fast as I'd like... story of my life!

So this weekend, I went outside...
**GASP**

If you've been reading a while you've heard my constant whining about the fact I want to live in Hawaii and the fact that i HATE the cold....HATE!  I usually wave at my daughter from the window (I'm the one waving from the INside!!).  But today I am a TINY bit mad at the sun because it is ruining the fun we had yesterday OUTSIDE!  Yes, I went outside yesterday and not just into the attached garage then into my car then into a store ASAP...
Darling got a block-maker to make a snow fort, why, I don't know!  It's not like the poor girl has anyone to go out with her to make said fort...
Actually yesterday was warm enough that the snow was perfect for making stuff and warm enough that I only had to wear a thick wolly sweater, a ski coat, snow pants and a fur hat (plus mittens that were like $40 so people like me can go outside).

those weird bumps on my eye-teeth (i think those are my eye teeth, but what do I know?!) are the invisalign braces thingy's, see how you can't see the braces!
YIKES that fork in the road is ON MY FOREHEAD!  Maybe I have something in my studio that will fill it?!

hey snow, i hate you... go away!

i'm grumpy today, it's cold, it's snowing, it's dark & dreary... and i hate all my clothes.

Have you seen those blogs where those cute girls show all their cute outfits EVERYDAY?! Where do they get all their $, that's what I want to know.  I think those are called "Trust fund babies".  Just another thing to be grouchy about- my grandparents not getting into steel during a war...

Wheww... am I pooped! Is it Christmas YET?

Oh seriously, I just deleted everything I typed... Dang, if I didn't go & hit the "USE THE NEW OPTION" thingy when I have 9,000 things to do & NO time to mess with learning this NEW way to post.... Ok- it's been a while so let me fill you in on what we've been up to:

1. Gingerbread House- PRE-baked & in my opinion, the ONLY way to go!!  They had this one at Joanne's & it's by Wilson less than $10!  Comes with everything you need (except patience!)

 

Darlings favorite part: sucking the (yucky) frosting from the bag...go figure!

Then we decided our angel that my Mom made us last year needed an extreme make-over... sorry Mom, no offense!  It's just when your child is afraid of the Christmas Angel, & wants to sleep in your bed every night as it is- you must take extreme measures to remove anything within your holiday decor' that will cause nightmares....

Here she is with her "hair" removed... it was Spanish Moss & something about the grey color wasn't very Heavenly... again, SORRY MOM!

Now I realize at this point, she still is looking creepy, but... hang with us, she's not done yet!

Then... the Advent Calendar!  I know, I know- I've had it since LAST year & I decided the last day of November to start the re-vamp... (keep your shorts on Cheeky Green- today is the day I finish it!).  This is how it started out:

It's been perfect here for finishing projects, since we can't leave the house:

Ok, I have to finish my cards, finish decorating, finish the advent, the angel, the gingerbread house & START my Christmas shopping.... I wanted to wait & see who was going to be naughty & who was going to be nice!

We've also got 2 Christmas parties to go to this weekend & let me tell you, that glass of Merlot will be well deserved!
