10 Random Things Friday...

1. I asked my Mister (through a txt) to bring me home some chicken wire (for a project, of course, I have NO chickens).  This is what I got:

3. I am random note scribbler...

this is only a TINY little stack of them... they are in almost every drawer in our home.  I get random ideas, I can't find my "idea book", so i grab a sticky note, an envelope, a business card, an important document...and jot down an idea or random numbers?...  Weeks, or months later I find one of these notes and wonder what in the heck "foofy book mark" means...

She went to MSU, her degree is in some agricultural thing, she knows a lot (A LOT) about corn, bugs, and weeds.  I have an art degree, I don't really know what she does, I like colors, she likes weeds.  She's awesome!

Now is where it's gonna get REAL random, 'cause i'm suppose to be out the door in 54 min and I'm not packed...

5. I find avocado's to be God's perfect food, sorry Angela, but I do!

6. I moved in 4th grade and 10 grade...guess who was NOT a happy girl to move as a sophomore?

7. I asked my hairdresser to cut my hair like this:

8. My parents and I have dark, VERY dark brown hair.  I have 2 RED headed brothers, go figure!

9. Today is one of the few days I am glad to be in Michigan and not Hawaii...yikes!

10. I just waxed my own eyebrows, excuse the confused look on my face...

Yes, yes...It's time for random ramblings!

1. I was watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (hangs head in shame...) 

next thing you know I was buying these

 Those chicks are a bad influence AND....seriously, the most horrible, fake psycho women I've ever seen!  Thankfully I don't know anyone even close to those broads!  I also don't have billionaire friends, I'd like to be the 1st in my group to be one (a billionaire, not a nasty psycho!).

2. I still have not turned this on

3. I am STILL cleaning my basement.  It's not that it was even a mess, it just had too much stuff "stored" and I'm doing a purge.  I WILL finish it today if I have to drink 6 pots of coffee to get it done! I tend to get a little obsessively task oriented when I start something, add that to some ADD and you've got someone stuck in a lower level for a week +

Random Goodness for Today!!

2. I've been on a "jean kick".  I'm often on a "kick"... do you know what I mean?  A kick means I become ALL ABOUT something, perhaps it's just a nicer way of saying a compulsive behavior? :)

BUT, let me share my little jean KICK secret...

EBAY!

Don't Judge me and my USED jeans!! Yes, I washed them ALL before I wore them!!!!

 When you are 4 foot 11-3/4 inches tall, you have to HUNT for jeans!!  Yeah, you can check the kids dept, but sometimes a 12 year old is just built different than a 41 year old.  Last year I told my Mister "I have 2 pair of jeans and I hate them!"  Off we went on "the hunt".  We shopped everywhere from Target to TJ Maxx to Norstrom Rack, to EVERY SINGLE STORE at the mall!  The very last stop was Express where I found 1 single pair that fit for $90!  I'm quite sure at the time I could have talked him into buying me 10 pair at that price if they would have fit!!  It's exhausting and beyond frustrating!  2 weeks ago for some strange reason I though I should check ebay for jeans (with a 28 inch inseam) and what do ya know!

Let's just say there was a package in the mail for me every single day!!

a few things I have learned:

1. make sure you know what brand "fits" you, know your inseam size and check the sellers measurements!!

2. check the brands websites and make sure you're not getting outdated "MOM" jeans

3. make sure you know what "destroyed jeans" means!! (think jeans with NO knees)

4. your favorite name brands are available (LOTS of American Eagle, Gap, and Abercrombie!)

5. the best thing I've learned: pre-worn jeans can be bought for  as low as .99 (& usually ship for around $5!!)

 Random item #3...I've fallen in LOVE with Gray and Yellow.

2 colors I kinda hate and 2 colors (although if you want to get technical, Gray is NOT a "color", it's a shade) I swear do NOT go together...

4. Random and Funny Photo

That would be Darling wearing "I love cookies" PJ's, her robe, MY boots and hat taking her dog out for a late night potty break on a rainbow shoelace while carrying 2 old (stinky) turkey brats out to the cats...
