What is happening to my SUMMER???

A pumpkin fell off our porch last year, a few seeds got left behind and started to grow.  I pulled the plant out and threw it at the edge of one of my flower gardens...  It has TAKEN over!

Note to self: do NOT throw baby pumpkin plants anywhere NEAR flower beds, they will survive and go nuts.

It makes me sad to see the end of summer, but it makes me happy to see the beginning of fall fashion!

the little necklace clips on each side of the shirt!  this is GREAT for a little girl that doesn't like ANY think "scratchy".  She can't stand jewelry that "touches" her...

I've somehow failed her!!

Silly bands itch her wrists, necklaces pull the hair on the back of her neck, rings rub her finger...

Happy weekend friends and don't forget the deadline is approaching to send in baby/kid hats!

Monday, you don't bother me...

When you stay home, one day tends to blend in to the next, Monday is no different for me than Thursday- sounds good, but then Friday isn't quite as exciting.  Don't get me wrong, I love being able to stay home, but sometimes I think "what is my purpose?", I can't even be dressed before 11 am!  I should be getting in the kind of shape other women hate you for, it's not like I don't have the time, I just don't have the gumption and besides... who would hate me?  I have no one to strut in front of in my 1/2 shirt and spandex shirt...

Darling went off to school with no glasses... have YOU seen them?  

I haven't...

Do you remember last summer when the Mister was having an affair with his hoe right in our own backyard?  Remember how I got beat up by his hoe and darling daughter's baby hoe?  Yeah, well I did!

So anyway, he's starting up the whole garden thing ALREADY!  People we had SNOW on Saturday- SNOW!

I'd have taken a picture but I was in the fetal position under the dining room table sucking my thumb! How OVER the snow am I?

Darling planted potatoes and the mister covered them with milk jugs- I guess that's what you call a poor mans greenhouse?  Oh wait, darling doesn't look like a pioneer girl, she looks like a poor little homeless girl!  Brown jacket, black & white striped leggings, Disney Princess boots that we call her

Ok, they're not "THAT" bad, but these are NOT fashion boots and I believe I'm going to have to put my foot down and make this the last pair of these fuzzy, light-up, thick soled, tacky boots!

She dressed herself... do you see a trend here?  The picture above with the brown & black, this one with the jean shorts, bikini top, & the kiss boots... I've got some work to do with this one!

Why yes, that is the Ol Mississippi, the Mighty Miss between my eyes...  Anyone willing to share a botox story?

Ok, I have to go get on the treadmill so the dog will be all jealous and stuff...
