In honor of my new CUTE hair-cut...

So, I HATE doing my hair! I hate drying it and I hate messing with it.

I mean, seriously, look at it... Who do I think I am with that LONG hair...

I just couldn't take it anymore, the 50 gallon drums of shampoo, the 17 hours of drying it every morning, the flat iron... You can see how a girl could loose it!

So, now I look like this

except not that great nose, the pink fur, the green eyes or the blond part... but other than that, TRY to tell us apart!!

so the self portrait may not be the most flattering way to post one's picture, but you know how I am...

Believe it or not, I (yes, ME!) was afraid of what that video might bring in so I'm going to follow it up with some cute stuff from Vat19... do you know of this site?

mini erasers!  I LOVE these and always have- I still have a large stash of Sanrio erasers from when I was a kid!  Darling daughter got a set of mini cake erasers in her Christmas stocking- I found them at Walgreens.  I just saw a bunch of them at JoAnn's yesterday too, if you're looking!

scented pencils... I want these!!  Why?  I don't know, it's not like I write with a pencil very often, but they smell like COTTON CANDY (and other good stuff!).  Thank goodness I have a 6 year old- that gives me a good excuse to buy things like this and Domo dressed as an Easter bunny...remember him from last year?

 Tonight we have a family night for all the kids going to the new school around the corner from our home.  It will open next year for Darlings 2nd grade class.  A school around the corner works SO much better for a mom like me... you know, the one that remembers her glasses aren't on her face 2 hours after she's left for school!  But then again, why isn't SHE remembering her glasses!?

 Have a great Thursday, i'm going to try and accomplish something today...maybe!

New Etsy stuff....

When i started this blog, i meant to post my artwork, goofy jewelry & cutie cupcakes that i sell in my etsy store, but somewhere along the way I got sidetracked-- Shocking, i know! I kind of forgot to talk shop and started talking about my uterus (see one of my earliest posts), my Darling Daughter, the Mister, getting beat up by hoes -you know, things like that! Don't get me wrong, I'm not sad about that because not only was I entertaining you (i hope), i was entertaining myself as well! Today though, i am goin' back to my roots & am going to do a hard sell on my goods! Pretend like I've got you at Applebee's & I'm in the middle of my Amway Speech... or not, I don't mean this to be scary!! OK, here are a few of the things I made this past summer but just never photographed till now. I won't rant about how i hate to do product photography or what a pain it is or how i wish my brother still did it for a living & how it would be great if he was someone you could count on.... without further ado, here are a few of my latest & greatest... well, I'll let you be the judge of that! Now have i got BIG NEWS!! If you've been reading for a while, you know about "Blue Jeans". If you're not sure what I'm speaking of, I'll re-cap, but i invite you to go back & check out the previous post. Our family made a trip to California in a van, not just any van, but a pimped out 70's van with "Blue Jeans" printed on the side! This was our family vehicle, Yes- they drove it in public & we were so young we thought it was cool (a point my mother, Chick, likes to point out every time i mention how stupid it was to drive a van that had the name of a piece of clothing printed on the side of it!). I told my daughter the other day that I was going to buy some vinyl letters & put "Corduroy Pants" on the side of my Volvo, her response: "why?"- My point exactly!

But anyway.... After much digging Chick found some SLIDES, yes slides people! She was kind enough to get prints made for me & I will be posting pictures of the (almost) famous BLUE JEANS VAN tomorrow! I know, i know- you won't be able to sleep tonight!!
