So, I said I was going to start running again and I have!! I still really have to MAKE myself get out there, especially since it's so stinkin' COLD! Don't you love when you say you're going to do something and you stick to it? It feels good to tough it out and seeing as how I'm 1/4" from being 5', this is the only thing I'll really ever be tough about!!
Here is my "MUST HAVE" list when running, 'cause I know you wanted to know...
hat, fingerless gloves, ipod nano, pepper spray (for the *#&%# dogs that people leave out while they go to work) and a fleece band to go over my mouth- that cold air does a number on your lungs!!!

just got this yesterday and let me tell you.... it is SOOOOOOOO much better than sticking your nano in your running bra!

As most of you know, my daughter was adopted from China and I left a little piece of my heart there. I'm collecting hats to keep the children and babies warm in the winter. Many live in orphanages that are without heat.

You are so funny! I too have a list of things that I "need" to run! Glad that you are doing it and sticking with it. The marathon I guess is my - I said I was going to do it - thing. It will be here before I know it... then what?!

Do me a favor and pack your inhaler as well. Now, me, I'd have my purse (because my make-up is in there) my coffee thermos, a roll of tp in case I needed to dash off into the woods and then poison ivy lotion, and a good magazine. Maybe a 48 oz for a reward. Maybe I'd just drive.
