i'm guess that tattoo refers to this genius idea: the Big Top Cupcakes. Who wants a boring cake when you can have one that looks like a giant cupcake!! SOOO cute! Totally something i feel i must have. Think of my parties, think of how all the kids would be jealous that they got a store bought cake & my daughter got a big top cupcake cake! I'd be the talk of the town, i'm sure of it!! This is for sure an item i would use once & never again... i'm willing to admit it, not that it makes me want it any less!

Bumpits... with these i would be more popular & more beautiful than ever, i could go to prom with the best hair, dance with the cutest guys and... i'm NOT joking i believe this people! I'm telling you: I HAVE A PROBLEM!I don't know about the BUTLER toilet seat set, nor do i want too... this one is just creepy... i like the ad though- where they call him a 3-D moustached "Gent"
Here is one i OWN & let me tell you, i LOVE it! i just checked the site & it is no longer available... seriously? i LOVE this thing & use it tons. IF you are a germ-a-phobe, it's a must have, check ebay! I give it 2 thumbs up, WAY up! (Oh wait, after more "research" i found it's been replaced with "The Monster 1200 Cleaning Machine" I'd add the picture but then it just screws up the placement of all my other pictures & i have to drag it down, delete the space it left behind at the top... blah, blah, blah... it's orange & seems to be the same?)

Now this one i love just for the commercial: the craft-lite cutter. Have you seen that crazy chick that can't cut out her poor kids school pictures? I mean unless she has some debilitating illness, is it even possible to cut THAT bad? A MUST HAVE as far as i'm concerned for EVERY crafty person or those who are just flunked "cutting" in school.

Another one i own & LOVE! The name makes me think of an anal suppository for some reason, but still my love for it grows stronger each & every day!

My illness for this stuff started years ago but came to a head last Christmas when i convinced The Mister that this product would make all my beauty dreams come true... Christmas morning comes & there it is: SPIN LASH sticking out of my Christmas stocking!! I cut open the package with my
Omni Dual Saw with laser honed dual blades & run to the bathroom. No more manual coating of my lashes!! But... SHOCKER... it SUCKS! I mean it, it spins SO slow even i don't have that kind of time (& we all know i pretty much have all the time in the world). I fall to the floor in tears (No mascara running down my face because the thing is so slow i never got any on!), my As Seen on Tv product has failed me.... it's the end of an era for me. No, not really, i still believe every piece of crap they show me on tv is going to make me prettier, smarter, craftier, cleaner, have no coffee cups without handles:
no clothes without buttons

Paint my entire home in an afternoon,

be hair-free (also own these),
Have neat closets (got 'em!),& be warm in Michigan!

So i'm just checking in to tell you i have NO time to post! i'm meeting a friend for some junk shopping. The entire summer i've never been able to make it out of the house before noon & we're meeting at 10 AM on the other side of where i live... so, i gotta run! But Britt.... cupcake goes in the mail tomorrow, i PROMISE! and i will be back tomorrow with all my exciting junk finds or a story of how i make out with a homeless man downtown... one of those 2 for sure!

I've been bit by the embroidery bug- it's not for OLD ladies anymore, seriously, it's NOT!! I know i posted a while back some awesome patterns from: http://www.sublimestitching.com/transferpreview.html Sublime Stitching. I know for sure I'm going to go order my fav's cause i started this last week & "i just couldn't get enough, no, just couldn't get enough" (sing it with me). This pattern is from the very talented Elsie Flannigan (see her blog:http://www.abeautifulmess.typepad.com/ . I took an online class from her & her friend Rachel last fall... i think i failed it. I just didn't keep up on the projects & even though i ♥ Elsie- most of the projects just weren't for me. IF i was 23 again, i think i would have been totally about it... Anyway there were super cute embroidery patterns that i stuck away in a file called: please make this... so i did!

See below: Not too bad for my 1st attempt since 7th grade home ec! I'll show you what i do with this- i'm not going to frame it in the traditional way... of course!

We're off like a prom dress, tomorrow is the Mister's birthday & we have some party plannin' to do!

Sundays storm = Double Rainbow!

i didn't have any plans to blog today, but i had to post these tonight: a DOUBLE rainbow!!!i just took the dog out to pee before bed, glamorous, i know! Go ahead, picture it: khaki shorts, t-shirt that reads "Barbie dumped Ken" & black rubber boots (not the cute ones with designs printed on them, real kids FARM boots, i call them poop boots) & a small dog on a pink leash... i look to my right & what do i see? a WHOLE 1/2 circle rainbow with another one right above the left side!

so pretty i couldn't quit snappin'...

there is NO way my pictures do it justice.... NO WAY!

liked that book also! i was going to say lilac but then that reminded me of the lilac spray that my Grandma used & how it always smelled like a lilac bush someone took a crap under when she came out of the bathroom, so i'll go with the scent of white cake baking- thankfully, i have no poop stories associated with that!

my day in photo's... can you stand it?

Hello Michigan, it's now August, enough with the cool weather!1st stop: Bye Bye Pie blog... written by my dear friend, my self-proclaimed BFF, my soul mate, my twin sister separated by time & place! She's my blog mentor, the one i strive to be like, hence doing my day in pictures, because if Ol' June Gardens says to do it... I DO!Now even though those "Skinny B**ch's" say not to drink coffee, i thumb my nose at them. I drink my coffee... unless i forget, which i sometimes do because i am someone who can NOT be burdened with an addiction!Feed my daughter breakfast & yes, she does like grapefruit- see the giant smile on her face! The "Skinny B's" say eat fruit for breakfast, so we do!Darling getting her vitamin, obviously she doesn't think she is getting 100% of her daily recommended dose. As a side note: she eats them in color order, she just finished yellow yesterday so we're on to red. Yeah, you can tell she is not from MY blood- thank goodness! She is so organized & logical & orderly... Chase Teddy out of daughter's bathroom before he uses her mat as one of those darn puppy pads! Grrrrr again to that lady training him to use those!!!!!!

Shower: obviously i am a girl that likes choices! get dressed, cry out that i "have NOTHING to wear"

Vow to organize right side... obviously i got distracted at some point.Laundry... do it!

make another PIT stop at Target so darling can spend her birthday gift certificate. Finally make it to Meijer & load cart with healthy stuff (cocoa is for the brownies- i couldn't find vegan, whatever!)

Make it home & start on my no-meat, no "real" cheese lasagna! There are the B's in the background showing me the way (right after the picture i realized i don't make it in a mixer & moved to the stove...).
See how the family LOVES it? Daughter looks like she is glaring at me & The Mister looks like he's going to drop over from boredom- guess he's tired of hearing how healthy i'm making him!
As if it wasn't bad enough i just fed them hamburger that isn't meat (soy crumbles) i am now cheering them on for an evening run- wouldn't you want to beat me?
have i ever mention "this" dog... he's the outside dog. Russell & i are not friends! Maybe we would be if he would quit gettin' all up in my biness... He is a BUTT sniffer to the extreme & see how he's looking all longingly at MY butt?

I just remembered i told you i couldn't do this yesterday because my day was boring... oh brother, like this was exciting?! Yeah, well, i'm a Mommy & this is what we do. Today we did go pick blueberries
& there's a golf lesson we have to go to in 1/2 hour. It's not exciting, but i wouldn't trade it for the world!

i was suppose to do my day in pictures yesterday & post them, but let me tell you, my day was SOOOOO boring, i left my camera someplace & forgot about it. So, today is going to be MUCH more exciting & i will post those tomorrow... if i can find my camera!

Bentō (弁当 or べんとう?) is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables as a side dish. Containers range from disposable mass produced to hand crafted lacquerware. But seriously... would YOU take the time to make these? i mean they are cute & all, but... i have a hard enough time just feeding darling daughter a regular meal let alone make it CUTE! These kill me! Ok, food is NOT my thing. i wish we were like the Jetsons- remember they ate a meal pill!? NOT that i'm a pill popper, i just don't like the work of food. If i could afford a chef to make all my meals i would do that over a housekeeper ANY day! We're still doing the "Skinny B" diet but not the vegan part. We like the milk, we do! Honestly, we are feeling so much better & we're exercising & RIGHT now on the "today" show they're doing "Die Fat or get Tough"... how ironic! Anyway this post is boring me so i'm off like a prom dress!

Final Week for Cupcake Contest!

Yes, it's true, I have started RUNNING again & let me tell you - at 40 it's not what it was when i was a runner in my 20's! Saturday morning i get up to go for a run (sick, i know!). Darling daughter wants to go, not to run with me, but to be PUSHED in a jogging stroller! I forget i'm not 20 & this is my 1st week back at this, so i agree. To get to the paved road in the subdivision by my home i have to go down our dirt road, past the swarm of deer flies, then onto the other dirt road with the deer flies chasing me, then up a hill, down a hill, around the corner (deer flies in hot pursuit), down another hill & take a right into the subdivision. Darling's stroller is an awesome "Jeep" running stroller with a CD player in it... ever tried to play a CD while running down a bumpy dirt road?- not enjoyable! The constant skipping & occasional note (even by Santana) added to the annoyance of the constant deer fly buzzing around my head! So, i make it to the paved roads & the deer flies go to hide in wait for my return... Now it's paved, but most of it up hill! I run through the development, past every 3rd house that looks alike & head for home... Up the hill onto the dirt where the deer flies have patiently been waiting. Remember the beginning of the run where i was running "down" to get into the sub division? It's all UP now... I get chased all the way back to the house- on dirt, pushing a 32 lb child in a jogging stroller with a SWARM of deer flies after me like i'm a hot young 20 year old. As i'm running, just trying to just GET HOME i notice my butt cheeks now move when i run- as in up & down, up & down... Not the tight hard buns of steel i use to have. i've always loved that line in the movie "Pretty in Pink" when Lona (Annie Potts) is talking to Andie (Molly Ringwald) about her butt: "I used to have a great butt, I DID, I LOVED MY BUTT! I wish I had a photograph!" I remember saying someday i will quote this line & let me tell you friends... that day is here! So, if you are in your ___'s & love your butt- TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, that is the moral of this here story!Tomorrow i will documenting my day in photo's, so make sure you tune in to see how the uber exciting spend a day on a dirt road in the middle of deer fly country!
